God morgon damer & herrar! Om tre timmar avgår mitt tåg från King's Cross St' Pancras med destination Lille, Frankrike. Där skall jag spendera hela dagen och kommer således inte kunna blogga! Vad jag däremot gjort är att ha tagit kontakt med en gammal vän vid namn Richard Chapman som tagit initativet att gästblogga! Och jag kan lova er reda nu - det är inte vilken gästblogg som helst!

Richard eller "richieroo" som han kallas på Internet är säsongskortinnehavare på Emirates, Arsenal-supporter sedan barnsben och allmän fotbollsgillare. Han är tyvärr inte känd på något sätt (om ni förväntade er det), men skriver däremot klockrena inlägg på engelska.

Samme man skrev inför säsongen detta stycke på Arsenal Sweden och nu får vi alltså en uppföljare. Inlägget är skrivet på engelska, men om ni har problem med språket kan jag tipsa er om Google Translate som kan översätta texten åt er till svenska!

Soft-centred league champions 10/11?

As I sit here on t u e s d a y night writing this piece, all I want is for arseblog to read it and for my dream to become reality, me the pale tired andfed up phd student with terrible dyslexia, ending up on the arsecast talking nonsense with arseblogger! - *no chance*. Anyway, for those of you that know me I’m always about on #arsenal on IRC Quakenet and those that don’t, I wrote a piece earlier in the season for this website and on my own blog (Won’t link there, don’t want to get sued – freedom of speech no longer seems to exist in the UK) which outlined our progress so far, to be honest its been alright hasn’t it?

Not as good as it could of possibly of been but better than expected perhaps, but some of the games I’ve come out of the emirates on the brink of wanting to go to war with the away fans, wankers. First that springs to mind is the defeat against them, “them” those fucking pikeys that give it the big chat about how fantastic they are and THIS (first heard that in 98) is the season they finish above us, well fuck off. We’re already 6 points ahead of you, you vile inbred scum. Yes you may of won for the first time in over a decade against us in the league, but as usual it was our own fault than fantastic football from there part, and then there is Kos’s miss at 2-2 ... bastard.

I have my seat at the Emirates at the clock end, which is the south part of the stadium. As I live just outside North London the beauty is I got to walk back towards Arsenal tube station I then had the pleasure of walking past the smug pikeys that had seemingly forgotten where they were, one of them started screaming “FUCKING HAVE IT YOU GOONER C**TS*” to which he was reminded by me with steam coming out of my ears as to “Did you forget where you were?”. His face then was a thing of beauty, I had my brother with me who even at the age of 36 has seen it all before, but he is a big guy, not fat, just big and broad. The scumbag soon looked on horror with my brother behind me, I don’t feel big and clever about it, but it made me feel better about myself for 10 minutes before I just remembered we’d be done on our own turf, I pray that we take the 3 points from them at shite hole lane ... we can only hope now.

I’ve had my little immature rudeboy rant, I apologise, I’m normally a friendly person! I can get back to the task at hand, ah yes our season. I can’t honestly think of a season where we’ve had more ups and downs and yet are still in 4 competitions. The problem is our bottle. It’s fucking terrible, we’ve dug team a few times this season but there has been a couple of absolutely spineless careless performances which have brought a few of us to putting our foot through the wall, I mean come on, the reason we are playing Barcelona is because of how lacklustre this team decided to be in Braga and Donnestk.

I know we should of had a penalty against Braga, but the performance was fucking 2nd rate. When I couldn’t afford a season ticket at Arsenal, I used to go and watch Luton Town week in week out as they are 15 miles north of me. And honestly their team - when they were in the championship - would of given Braga a better game. Alot of people on the #arsenal channel and forums blame Wenger, but personally while we know how stubborn he is, the players for there £50,000 a week are lazy and uninterested and that is what pisses us all of the most.

Did you see the article the other day about Bendtner saying he deserves his salary? Fuck off you stupid ponce, you struggle to go out for dinner? Cook at home then or get a chef you utter fucking nancy, do you see the poor bastards that commute into central London everyday from miles away to do a job they hate? These people get up at 6 in the morning and get in at 8 at night, do they complain like you do? Grow up, I spent alot of money to travel to Rome for the CL tie 2 years back and I couldn’t talk properly for days because I got so angry at Bendtners performance, it was that bad. He has the job we all would rather have and because his ex-girlfriend is big fish in Denmark, he can’t handle it. Didums, wanker.

I’d be happy if he left in the summer. His attitude smells worse than a prostitute who hasn’t had a bath for a month, or something.

I want to get into the positives because I know we are 2nd in the league, but come on guys, you know we could be top by now and yes there is a possibility that we will win it, but injuries will no doubt kick in soon, we had the januari transfer window and from a friend whos on Diamond club and a big city flier, he tells me that the money has always been there, not that I needed him to tell me that, we all know it. Even the radio knows it and that gets me to my next rant that fills me with utter hatred towards individuals.

The media and talkingshite, firstly if you are from the land of Wallander and reading this blog, then you guys don’t have The Sun, The Daily Mail, The full of fucking shite, The utter load of shite and The big barrel of shite to deal with on a daily basis. Even the broadsheets in this country (Guardian, Telegraph, Times) have ripped into Arsenal.

One article after the Newcastle game in the Guardian which was written by a women from the north-east .. now if you don’t know about women from the north-east, let me tell you ... they are a strange species’ that like to consume vast quantities of alcohol and then swear and fight anything in sight, and usually have lost their virginities in the back of a club by the age of 13. So you can imagine they are in my high regard. Anyway, she basically said that Arsene lacked respect to Newcastle after the 4-4 draw. I mean are you actually fucking serious you deluded stupid cunt? WHY, i say that again, WHY, would Wenger be interested in giving credit to Newcastle when I would be FURIOUS with my team and the referee for the utter incompetence to hold a lead and to give decent decisions (Rosicky penalty ha ha ha Dowd, go and play on the M6 you bellend).

Where was I ... oh yes, to say wenger was being disrespectful, do me a favour, you can also jump onto a motorway mr journalist tosser. The amount of shit in the newspapers is just beyond a joke, there was an article about Fabregas in the Telegraph which made me choke on my cereal. Arseblog summed it up nicely I don’t need to go into detail on that one, but it just defies belief. Then theres talkshite, yes 1089AM, where a ginger fat foureyed cunt runs his mouth about Arsenal this, Arsenal that. Just fuck off mate.

Really, in the past 2-3 weeks, Arsenal has been the debate for over 60% of the shows. I am surprised an Arsenal fan hasn’t seen him in the street and given him a smack, because he is just a fat fucking clown. Theres a show there called H&J which has a Spurs fan and a Chelsea fan present it, surprisingly that is actually quite good. Shame really.

If you read the transcript on the Arsenal websites, Wenger often praises and gives fair comments on opposition, for it then to be completely misquoted in newspapers I wouldn’t wipe my arse with is a joke to be honest.

Bollocks to them, I’m taking the Millwall approach to it. Noone likes us we don’t care! I don’t need to mention the Newcastle game anymore and even Everton to that matter because we won anyway and Moyes is a bloody idiot. The ref heard it, no wait the 4th official did, no wait it was the ref. Wenger is a liar bla bla, shut up!

We’ve had some good wins with the run of scoring 3 goals and have got ourselves in a good position but we have to keep going, Arshavin the enigma is coming back to form and while Nasri is injured this can only be a good thing. If we can ourselves into 1st position I really think we can win the league this season, we just have to get there first.

S a t u r d a yis absolutely massive for us, United – City could make the picture clearer. Imagine if City win and we beat Wolves, that leaves us 1 point behind United who would have Chelsea H/A and Liverpool & us. That goes for a team that would of lost 2 games that hasn’t been great all season, now that would be a massive amount of pressure.

I really think if we score early against Wolves we will get over
this Newcastle defeat draw.There could be some scaring if we are not
careful but the best thing to do is just play our natural game and go
for the win. If we get on top of them we shouldn’t have a problem.

If we can somehow not have a broken leg out or 2 out of the games against Birmingham and the 2 fixtures against Stoke then we can do it. I hope Wenger just doesn’t fanny about with the team selection, if we have the chance to rest players then do it, but after the Leyton Orient game, I doubt he will have the chance to and perhaps he should just accept it instead of tinkering about.

Personally I would be inclined to play Arshavin/Nasri if Arshavin stays in this form and let Walcott come on from the bench as I think he is more effective in bursts. As much as everyone seems to rate Wilshere, again I would play Diaby over him to try to toughen us up in the midfield alongside Fabregas and Song. But thats just my opinion, so don’t slate me! Diaby on a good day is a better player than Wilshere (AT THE MOMENT!).

So onto s a t u r d a y and then that club from Spain that everyone masturbates over as if the summer never happened, they are arrogant and are a joke of a club when it comes to the running of it, the team on the pitch is perhaps one of the best ever, but don’t take that away as John Cross in the Mirror has rightly said that what they do off the pitch is a disgrace.

W e d n e s d a y. Oh god I’m dreading it, I really don’t know how this is going to go, but I think we have more of a chance than people seem to think, we scored 3 goals against them in the ties last season with a completely depleted squad. I think with RvP and others fit we will give them more of a go and may actually take more than a draw to the Nou Camp, have faith people! If we score first and start getting some of the possession we may rattle them as they are not used to it at all, who knows!

Sometimes when our backs are against the wall we come out fighting, if the guys can’t get themselves up for this then they don’t deserve it. Remember the Chelsea game at home over Xmas? Managed to get into them and press them fantastically with a real team effort, lets hope the stature of the club we are playing doesn’t get to them.
